This avoids additional post-coating steps and ensures compatibility with Siraya Tech’s Fast, Build, Blu, Easy and Sculpt resins.

Rated Shore A 15 in hardness, Defiant 15 balances pliability with durable tear strength, ensuring reliable mold use over multiple castings. It maintains flexibility under stress and withstands heat exposure up to around 200 °C.

Beginner-Friendly Formulation

Thanks to its thin viscosity and easy 1:1 mix ratio by weight (or volume), Defiant 15 is exceptionally user-friendly. You can achieve bubble-free molds without vacuum equipment — careful pouring is sufficient.

Use Cases and Best Practices

Designed for mold-making with UV resin prints, this silicone kit works for everything from kitchen-safe ice cube or candy molds to flexible casting for resin, wax, soap or candle projects. Its food-safe certification makes it ideal for edible mold use.

To ensure proper curing, follow these steps: clean the printed master thoroughly with 90%+ IPA or ethanol, dry completely, submerge in water for 30 minutes, dry again (e.g. at 45 °C for 10 min), then pour the silicone within a 15 min pot life window. Full cure typically occurs within 4–6 hours at 25 °C.
