Built for High-Performance Environments
PPA-CF combines the rigidity of carbon fiber with the toughness of PPA nylon to create a filament capable of withstanding harsh environments. With excellent mechanical strength and thermal resistance, it is perfectly suited for components exposed to continuous mechanical stress or high operating temperatures, such as automotive or industrial machinery parts.
Recommended Printing Settings
To unlock the full potential of PPA-CF, print it at high temperatures between 300–320°C using a hardened steel nozzle (minimum 0.4 mm). The heated bed should be maintained at 70–90°C, and the cooling fan should be turned off to promote optimal layer bonding. It prints well at speeds from 30 to 120 mm/s, and with carefully tuned retraction settings (1–3 mm distance at 1800–3600 mm/min), stringing can be minimized.
Storage and Drying Instructions
Though PPA has low moisture absorption compared to other nylons, proper storage is crucial to preserve print quality. Always store the filament in its resealable foil packaging with desiccants when not in use. If moisture contamination is suspected—evident by bubbling or surface defects—dry the filament at 100°C for 4–6 hours before printing.
