Exceptional Glow Performance
Prusament PETG Ultraglow is engineered to maximize luminosity without sacrificing print quality. The filament contains a high loading of strontium aluminate, a non-toxic phosphorescent compound known for its strong and long-lasting glow. When exposed to intense light, especially UV, the material stores energy and gradually releases it in darkness, producing a bright green glow that remains visible for hours.
This makes it particularly suitable for prints that require visibility in low-light conditions, whether for practical safety purposes or striking aesthetic effects.
Strength and Practical Durability
Unlike many glow-in-the-dark materials based on PLA, PETG Ultraglow maintains the toughness, flexibility and thermal resistance typical of PETG. This makes it more impact-resistant and suitable for functional components that need to withstand regular handling or moderate mechanical stress.
Its low shrinkage and reduced tendency to warp ensure dimensional stability even on larger models, making it reliable for longer print jobs.
Printing Recommendations
Due to the abrasive nature of the phosphorescent powder, a hardened steel or wear-resistant nozzle is recommended to prevent premature nozzle wear. Otherwise, PETG Ultraglow prints similarly to standard PETG, making it accessible on most modern desktop 3D printers.
For optimal glow performance, charge the printed object under UV light or strong direct lighting before use.

The 800 g spool includes an integrated NFC tag containing essential material data. Compatible systems can read the tag for quick identification and simplified setup, helping streamline workflow and reduce configuration errors.
Prusament PETG Ultraglow is a reliable choice for makers, designers and professionals who want a filament that delivers both striking visual effects and solid mechanical performance.
