During 3D printing and laser engraving, fine particles and volatile organic compounds can be released into the air. The Snapmaker 2.0 Air Purifier is engineered specifically for the Snapmaker ecosystem to trap these emissions and maintain a clean working environment.
Advanced Filtration System
The purifier’s custom cartridge combines multiple layers for maximum efficiency. It includes a G4 filter for larger particles, an F9 filter for fine dust, an activated carbon layer to absorb odors and VOCs, and two HEPA H13 filters to capture microscopic particles with 95.9 % efficiency at 0.3–0.5 µm. This ensures that even the smallest and most harmful airborne contaminants are effectively filtered.
Smart Monitoring and Control
The system continuously monitors filter status and airflow. An LED light strip provides clear visual feedback, while fan speed can be adjusted directly from the Snapmaker touchscreen depending on your task — from heavy laser work to light printing jobs. The purifier alerts you when the filter needs to be replaced, keeping maintenance simple.
Elegant and Functional Design
Crafted from high-quality anodized aluminum, the purifier is as durable as it is stylish. Its compact form factor (240 × 271 × 420 mm) and lightweight 8.8 kg frame make it easy to integrate into any workspace. Despite its strong 150 m³/h airflow capacity, it operates quietly, keeping noise levels under 65 dB for a comfortable working environment.
Optimized for the Snapmaker 2.0 Enclosure
For best results, the Air Purifier should be used together with the Snapmaker 2.0 Enclosure. This setup ensures proper airflow and optimal filtration. When printing temperature-sensitive materials such as ABS, the purifier can be activated after the print to prevent temperature fluctuations and maintain air quality.
