Engineered for Strength and Stability
The integration of 15% chopped glass fiber creates a robust internal structure within the PET matrix, enhancing mechanical properties and reducing warping. This results in prints with high dimensional accuracy and strength, suitable for functional prototypes and end-use parts.
Designed for Outdoor and Industrial Applications
Fibreheart PET-GF’s UV resistance ensures longevity in outdoor conditions, while its low moisture absorption maintains performance in humid environments. These properties make it ideal for applications such as:
- Outdoor equipment and tools
- Drones and robotics components
- Automotive parts requiring heat resistance
Optimized Printing Performance
For optimal results, use a hardened steel nozzle with a diameter of 0.4 – 1.0mm and set the nozzle temperature to 300 degrees Celsius. A build plate temperature of 80 degrees Celsius is recommended, with the cooling fan turned off. Annealing printed parts at 95 degrees Celsius for 4 hours can further enhance heat resistance, increasing the heat deflection temperature up to 120 degrees Celsius.
