Prusament TPU 95A (NFC)

Overview

Prusament TPU 95A is a thermoplastic polyurethane filament engineered to deliver a balanced combination of flexibility, strength and reliability. With a Shore hardness of 95A, it provides enough elasticity for flexible components while maintaining the structural integrity required for functional parts.

Each spool is produced under carefully controlled manufacturing conditions and features a guaranteed tight diameter tolerance. This precision helps ensure stable extrusion, consistent layer bonding and fewer common issues associated with flexible materials, such as uneven flow or clogging.

Built for Durability

The ether-based TPU formulation offers excellent wear resistance and long-term durability. It maintains its flexibility even in low-temperature environments and performs reliably in conditions where many standard materials would become brittle.

Prusament TPU 95A also provides strong resistance to oils, greases and many common chemicals. Its low moisture absorption and resistance to hydrolysis contribute to stable mechanical properties over time, even in more demanding applications.

Printing and Handling

While flexible filaments generally require more careful tuning than rigid materials, TPU 95A is designed to be relatively easy to print with the right setup. It flows smoothly at recommended temperatures and offers solid bridging performance compared to many other TPU filaments.

Each spool is equipped with an NFC tag containing essential material data. On compatible systems, this allows automatic material recognition and simplified setup, streamlining the printing process.

Typical Applications

Thanks to its combination of elasticity and toughness, Prusament TPU 95A is ideal for functional parts that need to bend, absorb impact or withstand repeated mechanical stress.
