This carbon fiber reinforced blend offers strong thermal resistance, making it suitable for parts exposed to elevated temperatures. For applications requiring even greater heat tolerance, printed parts can be annealed to further improve performance.

In addition to heat resistance, the material performs well under UV exposure and shows good resistance to a range of common chemicals. This makes it appropriate for use in workshops, outdoor environments or industrial settings.

Optimized for Practical Printing

Compared to standard polycarbonate, PC Blend Carbon Fiber demonstrates significantly reduced warping, allowing for more stable printing without the need for a fully enclosed printer in many cases. Larger models remain dimensionally stable, improving success rates for technical prints.

Due to the abrasive nature of carbon fibers, a hardened steel or otherwise wear-resistant nozzle is recommended to prevent premature nozzle wear.
