Enhanced Adhesion and Versatility

The lightly textured surface of the Satin powder-coated sheet provides strong adhesion for a variety of materials, ensuring that prints stay in place during the printing process. This surface is particularly beneficial for printing with high-adhesion filaments like PETG, ABS, and Polycarbonate. The Satin finish also transfers to the bottom of the prints, adding a distinctive appearance. However, when printing with Polycarbonate, it’s recommended to apply a glue stick layer to prevent potential damage to the sheet.

Durability and Maintenance

The powder-coated surface is hard to damage, making it suitable for extensive use. However, it’s important to note that the sheet is not scratch-resistant. To maintain optimal performance, clean the print sheet with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) after each print. Avoid using acetone, as it can create microfractures in the texture, leading to surface deterioration over time.

Compatibility and Usage Tips

This print sheet is compatible with the Original Prusa XL heatbed. It is not compatible with MINI, MINI+, SL1, or CW1 printers. When switching from a smooth PEI sheet, it’s recommended to adjust the Live Adjust Z setting to accommodate the different surface texture. Additionally, for materials like ASA and Polycarbonate, using a brim or skirt around the print may help prevent warping.
