Built for Polypropylene Printing
Polypropylene is valued in 3D printing for its chemical resistance, low moisture absorption and flexibility, but it can be difficult to print due to poor bed adhesion. This print sheet is specifically engineered to solve that problem. The powder-coated surface provides the grip PP needs to stay firmly in place throughout the print, reducing warping and improving overall print success.
Cleaner Workflow, No Adhesives Needed
Unlike many standard build surfaces, the Prusa PP Powder-coated Print Sheet does not require glue sticks, tapes or other adhesion aids when printing PP. This simplifies the printing process, reduces cleanup time and helps maintain a more consistent first layer from print to print.
Simple Maintenance
Keeping the surface in good condition is easy. A quick wipe with isopropyl alcohol removes residue and restores adhesion. Harsh solvents should be avoided, as they can damage the powder-coated finish and negatively affect performance over time.
Material Compatibility
Although optimised for polypropylene, the sheet can also be used with other materials such as PLA, PETG and TPU. Adhesion characteristics may vary depending on filament type and print geometry, making it best suited for users who regularly work with PP or PP-based composites.
Designed for Long-Term Use
As with all powder-coated print sheets, cosmetic wear will gradually appear with regular use. Minor marks or surface changes are normal and do not impact printing performance, ensuring reliable results over the lifetime of the sheet.
