It is the optimal choice for users printing with carbon fiber, glass fiber, tungsten, boron carbide, or other abrasive materials. Extensive testing shows minimal wear even after 50kg of PA-CF usage.

Compared to standard hardened steel nozzles, the SiC nozzle from Phaetus lasts up to 7x longer, maintaining precision over time. This durability helps reduce maintenance, extend part life, and minimize nozzle changes-especially important for continuous and high-volume production environments.

High Flow Rates for Faster Prints

Thanks to its optimized melt zone and precision-machined internal channel, the SiC nozzle enables impressive flow rates tailored for modern high-speed printing. With the 0.4 mm version, it achieves a flow rate of up to 30 cubic mm per second, while the 0.6 mm variant pushes that even further to 40 cubic mm per second. These performance levels are calibrated using PLA at a printing temperature of 220 degrees Celsius, offering a perfect balance between speed and quality for both prototyping and end-use parts.

Leak-Proof, Precision-Machined

The inner surface is finished to a roughness of less than 0.4 Ra, ensuring smooth filament feeding and minimal clogging. With a burr free seamless design, the nozzle prevents leakage during long prints. This leads to more stable extrusion and fewer failures over time.
