Metal Parts Made Accessible
Ultrafuse® 316L allows users to produce stainless steel components without the need for traditional metal machining or expensive metal 3D printing systems. Parts are printed like regular filament, then processed through debinding and sintering to achieve solid metal results.
Reliable Stainless Steel Properties
Once sintered, parts made from Ultrafuse® 316L exhibit the typical properties of 316L stainless steel, including good mechanical strength and excellent corrosion resistance. This makes the material suitable for demanding environments and functional applications.
Ideal for Prototypes and Small-Series Production
The material is well suited for functional prototypes, jigs, fixtures, tooling, and end-use components. It enables rapid iteration and cost-efficient production of complex metal parts, especially where traditional manufacturing would be time-consuming or expensive.
Developed by Forward AM
As part of Forward AM’s Ultrafuse® metal filament portfolio, 316L is developed with a strong focus on material quality and process reliability. It is intended for users who need a dependable solution for metal additive manufacturing within professional and industrial settings.
