Reliable and Easy to Print

Fiberon PET-CF17 is a great choice if you need a strong, durable material that prints consistently well. The carbon fiber reinforcement improves stiffness without making printing too difficult, and its lower moisture sensitivity means fewer issues with storage and handling.

Printing Guidelines

For best results, use an all-metal hotend capable of reaching at least 270˚C and a hardened nozzle to handle the abrasive nature of the carbon fiber. Depending on the humidity in your workspace, you might need a filament dryer to prevent any moisture-related issues. After printing, annealing your parts can further improve their strength and heat resistance. Keep the filament dry when not in use to maintain optimal performance.
