Engineered for High Flow and Speed
At the heart of the K2 Plus nozzle is E3D’s unique multi-channel internal design. By splitting the filament path into four individual channels, the internal surface area in contact with the filament increases significantly. This allows for a higher volumetric flow rate—up to 48mm³/s—enabling consistent extrusion even at print speeds up to 600 mm/s. Whether you want more reliable output or to push the limits of your slicer’s flow rate settings, these nozzles are optimized to take full advantage of modern high-speed motion systems.
Abrasion Resistance with ObXidian Technology
Each nozzle includes a hardened steel insert treated with E3D’s E3DLC™ coating. This technology offers wear resistance several orders of magnitude higher than standard nozzles, making it ideal for carbon- and glass-filled filaments. The coating also provides non-stick properties, minimizing plastic buildup around the nozzle and improving long-term reliability.
Reliable Adhesion at High Speeds
High-speed printing often comes at the expense of quality, but not here. These nozzles are specifically designed to retain strong interlayer adhesion and clean filament finish even when printing at elevated speeds, ensuring your functional parts remain robust and precise.
Quad-Metal Thermal Management
A titanium HeatBreak ensures a sharp thermal transition between the hot and cold zones, reducing the risk of heat creep and improving overall print stability. This quad-metal structure ensures that each material is optimized for its thermal role within the nozzle.
Broad Material Compatibility
These nozzles support a wide variety of filaments, including:
PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, PP, PC, PA, PLA-CF, ABS-CF, PETG-CF, PC-CF, PA-CF.
When using filled materials, always verify the manufacturer’s datasheet to ensure the selected nozzle diameter is suitable, especially with standard sizes like 0.4 mm, as larger filler particles may pose a clogging risk.
