Printing TPU has traditionally been a challenge due to the filament’s inherent elasticity and high friction. To ensure smooth extrusion, the feed path must be as short and direct as possible. The TPU Feed Assist Module eliminates the struggle by providing an active, consistent push to the filament. By stabilising the feed and reducing drag, it delivers the reliability and precision required for professional-grade TPU results.

Forget the constraints of top-mounted spools or perfectly aligning your filament rack. The TPU Feed Assist Module gives you back your workspace. Now, you can keep your TPU in a side-mounted dry box or any convenient location without worrying about feed path friction. True freedom of placement, zero compromise on convenience.

Important Limitations

3D-printed housing required: This product provides the core extruder components, main control board, and connectors. The housing and frame must be 3D-printed by the user before assembly. Print files are available on MakerWorld.

Hotend installation: The module can be installed on either the left or right hotend, but the choice affects how the printer can be used:

• Right hotend (recommended): The left hotend remains fully functional. This means you can still use the left hotend for other materials — for example, printing PLA support structures for TPU models.
• Left hotend: Dual-hotend printing is not supported in this configuration. The vertical movement of the left hotend can cause unstable TPU feeding and increases the risk of clogging.

External spool required: The TPU Feed Assist Module must be used with an external spool holder. AMS automatic loading and unloading is not supported. To keep the filament dry, it can be fed via the AMS HT TPU outlet.
